So we went to KL!
Departure flight was 5.10pm on Tiger at Budget Terminal.
No delay for this. :)
At the DFS, my dad made the 1st purchase - Garlsberg & Guiness Stout.
They gave BB 2 cans in the hotel for him to drink.
Haha.
After arriving at KL LCCT, we went to buy a taxi ticket from the Budget LCCT Taxi counter or something.
Costed us RM75, guess was reasonable.
Once we reached Royale Chulan's lobby, we were quite impressed.
Really grand, really 5stars!
My parents love the comfy and huge sofa seats and requested for some fotos.
Haha.
Rooms were fantastic with a princessy arm chair which I really like.
We left for KLCC shortly since it was getting late.
While waiting for our seats at Madam Kwan, we walked around that level and he bought a TYR beach shorts.
Satay & the fried drumstick were yummy, the rest were soso only.
By the time we finished eating, almost all shops were closed hence we didnt shop there. :(
Went to take pictures of the Twin Towers!
Quite funny cos BB kept try to take our faces and the towers clearly and we kept changing spots and think of ways to make things easy for him.
Abandoned the plan to go Skybar since we gotta wake up real early the next morning.
For the 2nd day, we woke up at 7.30am as we are going Genting!
Asked hotel staff if there are Mamak shops around the area to have Roti Canai! :)
They recommended this Jln Walter Garnier place with quite a few breakfast coffee shops and we chose a nice Mamak Shop for roti canai.
We four were kinda satisfied.
After that, we met a nice local auntie who recommended us to this group of cabbies who drives ppl up to Genting.
One cabbie quoted as RM100 for one-way the 1st night btw.
And, after enquiring from the group the auntie suggested, they offered us RM60!
We didn't bother to bargain as its really low.
And, I must say they are all nice people.
The uncle Mr Ng who sent us up couldn't fetch us down and got another colleague to do so.
We paid his colleague RM70 to send us to Jln Alor from Genting. :)
Anyway, before going to Genting, we stopped at the temple to pray and take some pictures.
That's where mum's shoes opened mouth too.
Haha.
Hence, once we reached Genting we accompanied her to buy shoes.
Anyway, we all lost abit in the casino. :(
But, we had Marrybrown after that!
Hehe.
We reached Sungai Wang after 4pm I think.
Shopped abit, bought some clothes and walked to Jln Alor.
Walked along the whole stretch of da pai dang before stopping at one shop.
Interested concept as they have one menu for the 3 or 4 stalls in the shop.
Not sure if the shop we ate in was Meng Kee Grilled Fish.
Btw they have lots of Meng Kee there!
Had problem finding the stalls recommended online cos all had similar names.
Anyway, I only like the Penang Prawn Noodles our of all we ordered. :(
After dinner, parents were on for a walk to Chinatown, hence we spent like 15mins or so to walk over.
Everywhere was so dark!
KL is good at saving electricity, really.
Heard Chinatown is kinda dangerous and just before we entered the pasar malam, we saw this guy walking pass us covering his right eye area with blood flowing down non-stop!
OMG, I really began to be paranoid again.
But luckily nothing bad happened to us.
First stop there was the watch shop with Ah Keong (BB's "fren") there.
We each bought a watch and this is the 1st time I buy an imitation watch.
HAHA.
Mum and dad asked us to drink some herbal tea from the stall behind also.
The place was really squeezy but we managed to buy some stuff each (except dad).
Iphone cover, shorts, tops, watches, bags and wat else? :)
Since most of the stalls sell about the same thing, we didn't cover the whole area in case my parents were bored and returned to hotel very early.
Good for him as he can catch his Arsenal match.
But, my mum called me and said my father asked wat to do since its so early!
HAHA!
I thot they might wana rest early since we left very early in the morning and somemore travelled alot.
As for next day, we slept more as we planned to check out in the morning then just stay out til the night time to come back for our luggage.
Wanted to go back to our breakfast area, this time nearby at Jln Imbi, for San Ha Mee (recommended by Eric) from Soo Kee.
But it wasn't opened that early and we went to try the Ba Kut Teh nearby.
Not bad, but I really missed the ones at ah ma house, JB & Penang.
Haha.
We then walked to Times Square.
Really very big!
We bought lots of pairs of slippers btw.
RM12.90 or even RM10 only.
I only buy 1 pair thou. :(
Hehe.
Bought bathroom slippers for sis and gerger.
Really cute and also RM10.
Oh ya, we went to the newly opened FOS there.
WAH ALOT OF NICE CLOTHES!
I bought some tees for sis, sy, ll, mum and myself.
Hope they like it.
In other shops I think we bought some misc stuffs too.
We didn't go Pavilion which we planned to as there are only very branded goods which we think we won't be buying also.
Therefore, we got lots of time to while away in the mall!
We went Krisy Kreme since I wana eat their donuts and theres free wifi. :)
Nice donuts which we all loved.
Sat there quite long before we walked back to Jln Imbi for Soo Kee's San Ha Mee.
I think except the zi bao ji and the sheng mian, the rest were not super impressive for the RM170+ we paid!
One plate of the mee is RM60.
They really tok us with the big prawns I tell u.
I don't think I will return again unless we are sure we can ask for lower price.
Haha.
We then walked back to hotel slowly.
And, rested for about half an hour before getting Mr Yap to come.
Oh yes he is the one who sent us to the hotel on the night we arrived.
He charged as same price but we gave him RM5 more. :)
There were slight delay in the return flight.
Since not too long, not much complains. :p
But I think we were all tired out since its a near midnight flight.
Oh, we bought some dou sha bings and ma ti su for the families. :)
I think we all really enjoyed the trip!
Happy!
