For Pre-Wedding Shoot

Today the bday ger who turns 26th accompanied us to MDW to discuss and choose the gowns & tuxedos for pre wedding shoot.

For him, basically I didn't really see him tried on except maybe 2 sets?
And, while I was busy trying on mine (oh man I felt like I was doing fashion show) sis and him selected 2 simple tuxs for him.
Of cos, I went thru all before confirming. :p
Suits his style - simple but nice.

As for me, I paraded in like 10 odd gowns in total?
I was kind of disappointed since the white gowns weren't out for display for us to choose ourselves.
However, Jenny who was helping me was very kind and patient to listen to me on my preferences.
Her judgement was quite good I must say.
I went with an aim of choosing 3 totally different ones - one uber elegant gown, one tea dress in daring color & maybe one cheongsam or evening gown.
I managed to settle on a tea dress and cheongsam lookalike in just 1 try each.
There wasn't many options for these 2 anyway.
Haha.
No la, also partly I quite like the 1s I tried.
But now, Im wondering how the set of photos for the cheongsam lookalike will turn out to be!
What shoes should I get to match it huh?
And also for the tea dress, should I get a pair of stylo heels for it?
Anyway, back to the gown.
For all I tried, only 1 gave the WOH feeling.
Before I came out of the dressing room I was like, "Who (sis) say halter is not for me (shortie ma)?!"
Then when I stepped out of the dressing room, sis, him and the photographer were like, "Woh this is nice."
HOWEVER, I DID NOT choose it in the end due to it is quite similar to the cheongsame lookalike & its kinda plain in design for photos.
After which I had a hard time finding the piece that really attracts me.
Finally, Jenny & the photographer discussed and decided to show me a piece which they thought would be too tiring for me base on the location I wanted to go.
The design on the gown isn't what I really like but was ok.
It was the cut and the big tail, oh and the big ribbon (but not in one of my fav colors hahaha) that made me decided to choose it.
How tiring also mus wear since I like it.
Hahaha.
I really hope I will look good in all the photos with the dresses I chosen!

After returning home then I realised there are some questions I forgot to ask!
Like whats the hand bouquet gonna be like?
What hair accessories will be used to match the dresses?

OMG I tell u wedding is about alot of details!
For those we are going to start preparing, be warned!
Haha Opps.

Luckily for me, this preparation I feel its quite enjoyable since its about clothes and matching them with different things.
Hehe.
Oh oh, we chose a free prop provided by MDW too!
And gonna prepare a few ourselves most probably.
Hehe excited!
I've got so many ideas!
But some of which he doesn't like.
I think cos he is too boring to like my funky ideas.
HAHA! :p

1year ago around this time, I had a Halloween Batam trip with my 2 ger frens.
Today, he left for a post Halloween trip to Sepang with his swift frens (suppose to be a guys trip but ended up one of the WAGS wana tag along haha).

Got abit not used to it.
Abit only.
Haha :p

But I guess sometimes its good to really spend like 1 or 2 days on our own.
We can do things we like but the other might not enjoy as much.
Or we can spend time with frens who we won't hang out together.
We don't have to spend all our freetime together.
Absence does make the heart grow fonder.

Wish him a smooth journey & great tracking (safely).

Oz & Turi!

We've neglected our blog but definitely not on purpose cos we have been too busy to update.
Here I am now to do a short update of the 2 trips we had recently.

We went Melbourne & Sydney from Mar to Apr for 13 days.
We had a very good time in both places.
Some of our favs are Great Ocean Road (esp Cape Otway Lighthouse..hehe), Penguin Parade, Sydney Fish Market (maybe I like, not him haha) and Pylon Lookout. :)
OH YES HOW CAN I FORGET DFOs!
Hehehe.
We would like to go back to Melbourne again! :)

On 20-21 May we went Turibeach which is a present from me to him for his 30th Bday.
There was a planned surprise BBQ with his BC frens for him too.
I so good right?
HAHA.
Anyway, Turibeach is a simple, relaxing, peaceful and nice place which is just a 30mins ferry ride & less than 10mins bus ride from SG.
The swimming pools there are simply nice with the forever warm water.
The sea is quite clear & clean while sand is also clean.
Just that the beach is small.
There was this long walk out into the sea which seems like a jetty.
Very nice path.
WE WILL BE BACK!
1st day there I was already thinking we will bring both our families there. :)

Ok gotta save money liao.
Haha.

19Hours to Oz!

In 19hours time our flight would have depart for Melbourne! And, I hope in 20hours time I would be sleeping soundly on the plane. I will difficulty sleeping Im sure. Hope the clothes I bring are just right and enough for the weather. The temperature of Melbourne and Sydney can be quite different - Melbourne is cold and Sydney can be warm. Argh! I think I will have round 2 of packing tomorrow. Anyway, can't wait for the adventure to start! It's really a challenge for the 4 of us to plan a 12day trip in like 14days, out of which 10 days we are working. But looking at our itinerary Im sure we are good to go! Cya when we are back! :) Chu

Japan Switched - Australia.

Japan's trip called off (bonus to get full refund) & we are going Australia.
Our travelmates still remain as Kok & Esther. :)
First trip together, hope will be a great one!
Booked tickets for the long trip just 14days before the departure date.
Rushing for research, planning and all the bookings.
We are planning Melbourne while they will take care of Sydney.

Anyway, its really very saddening to watch the news on Japan.
Sometimes I would want to find out more but I can't bring myself to see the footages nor read about the sufferings the people there are going through.
And, we get quite upset when we hear people say things they shouldn't at such period.
I hope those people will use their brain and do someting more constructive for Japan than to just open their mouths and shoot rubbish.
Wish Japan will get over this tough period soon.
Their spirit to protect and reinstate their homeland is something we need to learn.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Vday once again bb!
This year its on a Monday hence we had celebrations in advance.

For the 1st time I planned something different than the usual movie and dining.
I planned for a scrub, wrap and massage session on Sat noon at Beauty Empire (not recommended, haha!).
Yesterday, we went to Forlino @ One Fullerton for lunch.
Had lots of fun photo-taking with the nice backdrops!
Oh ya, realise no pics of presents.
Haha.
I bought him a trenchcoat from Topman so he can wear in Japan.
He bought me a white Swatch which I like. :)

Suyun was telling me about these Doraemons from Guardian and after work before meeting Velda, he accompanied to search for them.

I chose a body wash, hand wash & kids wipe!
He paid for them saying,"These are more practical than flowers."
HAHA!
Cos previously I was teasing him by looking at flowers other gers are holding.

Hehe.

2nd Preparation for the Jap Trip!

I am watching Xia Yi Zhan Xing Fu while he is researching on Japan Hotels for our upcoming trip.
:p
Theres some good 3 days offer on some hotels so he has to faster research and decide.
And, to discuss with kok later since we might meetup there.

I think this episode will be nice but he say I watch he research.
And, my role for the trip is to surf on Premium Outlets & Japanese cosmetic & skincare brands.
I like this role.
Hehe.

Xmas Eve, Xmas & NYE 2010

Too tired to blog about the festives but we spent it together. :)

Xmas Eve: Steamboat at GH's hse with my JC gang. Shop for the food prior to that together. After Steamboat was wine drinking, log cake eating and lots of chatting.

Xmas: BBQ at Kiat's hse with his JC gang (oh jus realise our good frens are frm JC!). Shopped for food at Giant before that. Andy announced he is no longer single! :) Watched a dvd and of cos some chats went on too.

Boxing Day: He sent me to Ah Ma's hse after Nai Keng's morning ceremony. I bought log cake for all. He left for the banquet while I enjoyed steamboat there.

NYE: Went Nicole's hse. Canadian Pizza, Breakout, Monopoly Deal, MJ and Taboo! Great Fun!

NY Day: MJ with his family and I cant rber. Opps.

NY Day+1: Went Ah Ma house. Monopoly Deal with them.

My Xmas Present for him is a pair of Asics shoes.
He wanted one pair from there for sometime liao.
A pity can't find a nice pair from Onistuka Tiger. :(

His present to me is Love, Chloe! :)
I really like it!

But its one of the most expensive perfume around, so I kinda heartache.
Haha.

Just now on the train while listening to songs I thot of how he always pat me to sleep.
If im gg to bed before him or wana continue sleeping in the morning, he will put down what he is doing, sit by the bed and pat me to sleep.
I feel so love whenever he does that.

Preparing for Japan!

After the air tickets, 1st preparation we did is My Trenchcoat!

It's a Black & Grey one from Mango.

After discount it's $99.

He kept saying its nice and very jap (which he loves) so I bought it since I like too. :)

Hope I can match my clothes with it well.
