Kok and Esther jioed us to JB for shopping and seafood.
Coincidentally, some car garage uncle recommended BB Tai Lai Seafood Restuarant in Gelang Petah.
He, as usual, loves to explore new places and surfed online about Gelang Petah & the restuarant.
We saw lots of positive feedback about the food and price hence told the 2 companions.
All agreed to try it out.
BB managed to find a Jusco nearby too.
He fetched the couple and I joined them at my carpark at around 3.30pm.
Proceed to 2nd link and luckily no jam.
Oh ya got to pay $3.20 for entering and exceeding, maybe that's why much lesser jam here.
1st stop was Jusco.
Had some cakes and drinks at Secret Recipe.
Same price as SG's but in RM.
Yummy cheap cheesecakes.
After we left, we saw A&W!
Bought 2 packs of curly fries to satisfy our A&W cravings thou we were all full already.
Hehe.
Anw, we bought quite a bit of snacks and other stuff.
Theres Action City there too!
At around 7pm or so, the time keeper which is him, informed us its getting dark so we drove to look for the restuarant.
Parking was quite tricky as all were by the roadside with lots of ang moh chus along the road.
But he did it! :)
The restuarant is very big and filled with customers.
1st ting I saw was BIG PACK OF KEROPOK (10 small packs inside)!
Checked out the price and its only Rm15 for 1 big pack and so each couple bought 1 pack. :)
We ordered 2 salted egg crabs, cereal prawns, furong dan, kangkong and I tink one more dish?
I tell u, the way they cook the crab is really good.
Other than steamed crab my dad always prepare, their salted egg crab is by far my fav!
A pity I find the crab a little off in terms of freshness.
Overall we like the food.
Total bill came up to be RM140+ only.
Oh ya minus RM30 for 2 packs of Keropok, actually is about RM110+ only!
We should be returning again!
